Inter Part-II Results Announced for 2024. 

The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Lahore and Multan have announced the results of the Intermediate Part-II annual exams for 2024.

BISE Lahore Results:

A total of 190,218 students appeared for the exam.

114,985 students passed, while 75,000 failed.

Group-wise results:

Pre-Medical: Out of 49,234 students, 38,198 passed.

Pre-Engineering: Out of 12,950 students, 9,528 passed, with a passing percentage of 73.58%.

Humanities: 63,573 students appeared, 29,172 passed (45.89%).

General Science: 49,193 students appeared, 28,506 passed (57.95%).

Commerce: 15,268 students appeared, 9,581 passed (62.75%).

Important Note: Around 75,000 students failed the exam this year.

BISE Multan Results:

A total of 79,489 students took the exam, with 50,490 passing (pass percentage of 63.52%).

Group-wise results:

Pre-Medical: 29,289 students appeared, 24,270 passed.

Pre-Engineering: 5,724 students appeared, 4,363 passed.

General Science: 18,158 students appeared, 9,792 passed.

Commerce: 2,361 students appeared, 1,407 passed.

Home Economics: 37 female students appeared, 30 passed.

Arts: 23,920 students appeared, 10,628 passed (44.43%).

Rechecking Schedule:

Students who wish to recheck their exam papers can apply online through the board's website until September 19. After submitting the application, students will be informed via SMS about when they can visit the board office to see their papers.

Awards Ceremony:

A special ceremony was held to honor top-performing students. Provincial Assembly Member Salman Naeem and Commissioner Maryam Khan congratulated the students and their families. Laptops, medals, and other prizes were distributed to the top position holders.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also congratulated all successful students across Punjab, expressing her best wishes and pride in their achievements.

Results in Other Cities:

Bahawalpur: 57,660 students appeared, with 34,689 passing (pass percentage of 60.16%).

Faisalabad: 103,269 students appeared, 74,154 passed (71.82% success rate).

Sahiwal: 45,519 students appeared, 25,177 passed.

Sargodha: Out of 52,475 students, 35,656 passed (67.97% pass rate).

Dera Ghazi Khan: 60,539 students participated in the exam.

This year’s results reflect a mixed performance by students across Punjab, with some groups achieving high pass rates, while others, like the Humanities group, struggled more. The boards are working to provide support for those who wish to review their results.
